The course will give in-depth knowledge about contemporary trends in theories and methods of service, tourism and experience innovation research and of the integration and interplay of theories and methods in innovation research projects.

The course will introduce the participants to theories, research traditions, methodologies, and approaches related to research on innovation in services, tourism and experiences. The aim is to qualify the PhD students’ choice, elaboration, development and combination of innovation theories and innovation research methods in their research projects.

Lecturers at the course include Marja Toivonen (Aalto University, Finland), Jon Sundbo (Department of Social Science and Business, Roskilde University), Lars Fuglsang (Department of Social Science and Business, Roskilde University), Ada Scupola (Department of Social Science and Business, Roskilde University) and Flemming Sørensen (Department of Social Science and Business, Roskilde University).

The course is planned, coordinated and run by ISE-PHD School, Roskilde University and it is financially supported by The Doctoral programme in Organisation and Management Education (DOME).
