Joseph Pine, Albert Boswijk and Jon Sundbo were among the key presenters at the open meeting about movements and developments in the field of experience economy on occasion of the recent publishing of the Handbook on the Experience Economy at Roskilde University last Thursday, which can now be seen here at our blog!
The meeting was also a celebration of the circa one and a half decade in which the academic field of experience economy have expanded rapidly, and the 8 years that a great part of this development have taken place at RUC. Hence, as cen be seen in the video above, Albert Boswijk started his presentation by stating that “today we are celebrating about 13 years of trying to get the word out about the change of the economy”.
Stabucks, Jung and a new platform for journalism
The full meeting can be seen above, so here will just be mentioned that some of the subjects that were evaluated in the meeting were experience innovation in relation to coffee drinking, psychology of experiences and innovation in the field of journalism business models.
After the presentations, the presenters formed a panel who answered questions from the listeners. Among other subjects, mass experiences and marginalization in services were discussed, as well as innovation in the dairy industry. The effect of apple-box-opening experiences were also briefly discussed.
Interviews about the new handbook and the current field of experience economy with Jon Sundbo, Joe Pine and Christian Jantzen can be seen here: Experience-Economy .com – where the slides from the presenters’ presentations can also be found.
